About the IDF Pin Insignia Navy Patrol Boats Badge

The Navy's  patrol units, which are composed of small and fast boats like Dabur, Dvora and Shaldag are built in Israel specifically for the defense of the State of Israel's longest border, are the most important response to the threats. The Patrols maintain the state's maritime security all year long 24/7.

The boats are manned by crews of 8 to 12 sailors. The boat's commanders are graduates of the Naval Academy. The rest of the crew is made up of regular sailors who passed certification courses at the naval training base as gunners, navigators, electronics and mechanics for the above  mentioned boats.
