About the DPM for S&W M&P CARRY COMP 4.22″ ADJUSTABLE by DPM Systems:

The DPM Recoil Reduction Rod Soft Version is Designed to serve any comp, ported slides & threaded barrels. Also it is compatible for low power ammunition. 

The system works due to the multi spring intricate rod (3 springs) and controls the functionality of the gun. The third spring which is contained within the rod controls the movement of the slide so it never rams on the frame.

The kit includes 5 external springs, 2 x 1.0 mm  wire diameter (long set) and 3 x 1.05mm  wire diameter (shorter set), all with different power rates.

**As we lead the evolution of recoil reduction technology, products may change versions (new design with different springs, with or without plugs, washers, etc.) without any prior notice.**

The long set (1.0mm WD) is softer than the short set (1.05mm WD), following below are their power rates table.

Soft Springs 1.0mm  (long set)

Slide on the battery 

Short Spring: 3.5 kg / 7.7 lbs

Long Spring: 3.9 kg / 8.6 lbs 

Heavier Springs 1.05 mm  (short set)

Slide on the battery 

Short: 4 kg / 8.8 lbs

Medium: 4.4 kg / 9.7 lbs

Long: 4.7 kg / 10.3 lbs
