The T-LASER is engineered to activate in response to the distinct mechanical acoustic impulse created during dry-fire trigger actuation. In practical terms, that means it is designed to work with a trigger-reset training magazine installed. The included T-TRIGGER makes that possible by providing the reset function needed for repeated dry-fire practice. Without a compatible trigger-reset mechanism, the T-LASER will not function as intended.

Together, the T-LASER and T-TRIGGER create a more immersive training system that works exceptionally well with targets, simulators, and dry-fire training software. This helps shooters improve trigger control, sight discipline, target transitions, and overall consistency through structured repetition and immediate visual feedback. The system has also been verified to work with the Mantis system. Compatibility with additional training systems and platforms is currently being tested and verified.

The T-TRIGGER training magazine is a key part of the bundle. It installs into the magazine well and enables the reset-based dry-fire cycle required for the laser to respond properly. For correct seating, a firm push may be needed, and the first trigger pull may feel heavier than subsequent pulls. During removal, it is pulled out by hand rather than dropping free like a standard magazine.

The system is easy to set up. The T-LASER is inserted into the chamber of the unloaded pistol, powered by 3 x SR626SW / LR626 / AG4 batteries, and activated with a short press of the button. The included MADFIRE Barrel Block helps open the laser cap and assists with safe installation and removal. To help preserve battery life, the T-LASER automatically shuts off after 3 minutes of inactivity.
