The CZ TS Orange & TS 2 9mm -12 Combinations recoil spring system works due to its multi spring rod design (three springs) by producing an advanced recoil reduction technique by gradually slowing the slide down before impacting the frame of the pistol using Spring No. 1 (see fig. below) and Spring No. 2. The third spring (Spring No. 3) which is contained within the rod itself controls the movement of the slide so it never rams on the frame.

The spring plug must always be installed when the DPM Recoil Rod and springs are used.

This system works due to the multi spring intricate rod (3 springs) and controls the functionality of the pistol. The system includes 4 different powered springs and 3 different sized spacers so the user can fine tune the opening and locking position forces on the pistol’s slide. The springs wire diameter is 1.0mm.

Following are the power rates of each spring and spacer.

Power Rates of the External Springs – Slide on the battery (closed).

The 2 Gold Springs are softer/lighter and 2 Silver Springs are harder.

S 1 Gold Short (23.5 coils):      5.7 lbs

S 2 Gold Long (25 coils):          6.6 lbs

S 3 Silver  Short (23.5 coils):   7.3 lbs

S 4 Silver Long (25 coils) :      8.4 lbs

Power Rates of the spacers – Slide full open position.

Attention: The spacers co-operate only with the DPM Sping Plug that is included.

Short Spacer:        15 lbs approx.

Medium Spacer:  19 lbs approx.

Long Spacer:        23 lbs approx.
