About the Recover Tactical P-IX+ Modular AR Platform for Glock Pistols:

P-IX+ includes several upgrades from the original P-IX incl: a reinforced upper rail, enhanced pistol retention, pistol grip w/ integral mag holder & our new buffer tube (w/ stock version). Convert your pistol into an AR Platform w/ P-IX+. Compatible w/ AR modular accessories incl. pistol grips, buffer tubes, stocks, flip-up sites, etc. (Metal Front Guard is not included in the early release, hence the price difference. Anyone who purchases the early release version will be eligible for a 50% off coupon code for MFG when it is released). Glock magazines on the picture are not included by the kit.

This product is none discountable and comes with FREE Shipping. The Buttstock you will receive looks slightly different than in the photos. Recover has made a change to the P-IX therefore a rail section above the ejection port has been removed.

    Initially, the upper rail was connected. However, recent photos and images do not have the upper rail on the shell outlet side. Has the design changed to missing upper rail?

      Correct, Recover made a change to the product and now around the ejection port there is a section where there is no rail. Still there is a lot of space for optics.

    Very cool items and the set up was very simple and fast. Would suggest that you do what I did and buy the extended magazines prior to getting it as it just don’t look the same amount of awesomeness with the standard 15 round or 17 round mags that come with a standard Glock 40 or 9. Thinking about getting the 50 round or 100 round drum for it next as I do have interchangeable barrels for both 9 and 40 cal. Anyways definitely worth getting ! Will update how it shoots when I can get to the range
