The DPM for Canik Mete & Rival 5″ – 5.2″ – 5.74″ Barrel Length replaces the original factory guide rod/spring system and produces an advanced recoil reduction by absorbing the shock gradually and slowing the slide down before its impact with the frame of the pistol. Because the system is an interior modification of your pistol it will not change the external dimensions of the handgun, therefore there is no for a new holster, sights or any other accessory you own.

The unique U.S patented DPM Telescopic Recoil System is a high-end tech multi-spring system, it is a direct after market replacement for the factory (OEM) recoil rod and does not require any modification to the pistol. The DPM  Canik Mete & Rival 5″ – 5.2″ – 5.74″ Barrel Length recoil spring system works due to its multi spring rod design (three springs) by producing an advanced recoil reduction technique by gradually slowing the slide down before impacting the frame of the pistol using Spring No. 1 (see fig. below) and Spring No. 2. The third spring (Spring No. 3) which is contained within the rod itself controls the movement of the slide so it never rams on the frame.

DPM Mechanical Recoil Reduction System for DPM Canik Mete & Rival 5″ – 5.2″ – 5.74″ Barrel Length

This system works due to the multi spring intricate rod (3 springs) and controls the functionality of the pistol. The third spring which is contained within the rod controls the movement of the slide so it never rams on the frame.

The system includes 2 different spring plugs and 4 different external springs.

Short Spring: 9 lbs
Medium/Short Spring : 10 lbs
Medium/Long Spring: 11 lbs
Long Spring: 12 lbs

Total force – Slide full open position:

Short Plug: 16 lbs (Approx.)
Long Plug: 19 lbs (Approx.)

The spring plug must always be installed when the DPM Recoil Rod and springs are used.
