About the SIG SAUER P365 3.1″ Barrel SOFT VERSION DPM Systems:

The DPM Mechanical Recoil Reduction System for SIG P365 3.1″ Barrel SOFT VERSION replaces the original factory guide rod/spring system and produces an advanced recoil reduction by absorbing the shock gradually and slowing the slide down before its impact with the frame of the pistol. Because the system is an interior modification of your pistol it will not change the external dimensions of the handgun, therefore there is no for a new holster, sights or any other accessory you own.

SIG P365 3.1″ Barrel SOFT VERSION

The DPM for SIG P365 3.1″ Barrel SOFT VERSION recoil spring system works due to its multi spring rod design (three springs) by producing an advanced recoil reduction technique by gradually slowing the slide down before impacting the frame of the pistol using Spring No. 1 (see fig. below) and Spring No. 2. The third spring (Spring No. 3) which is contained within the rod itself controls the movement of the slide so it never rams on the frame.

 The above DPM recoil system works due to the multi spring intricate and controls the functionality of the gun. Also included with the system are 4 external springs so the shooter can fine-tune the weapon for his/hers personal standards. These external spring have effect also in the total force of this recoil system. The longer spring (more coils) is stronger and has a heavier pound rating than the shorter spring. 

The kit includes 1 DPM Recoil Mechanism, 4 External Springs and 1 Stainless Steel Spring plug.

Important Notice: It is mandatory to install the Spring Plug when using the DPM Recoil kit.
